Esta semana, ESCI-UPF ha recibido la visita del International Terra Institute, una organización sin ánimo de lucro que trabaja para promover la sostenibilidad y la protección del medio ambiente.
Durante la visita, se presentó a la Cátedra UNESCO de Ciclo de Vida y Cambio Climático y el Programa de Postgrado en Gestión de Transición de Sostenibilidad y Cambio Climático, que ofrece una formación especializada en la gestión de la transición hacia una economía más sostenible.
Asimismo, también se llevó a cabo un taller sobre economía circular, en el que se discutió la importancia de la economía circular para la sostenibilidad y se presentaron ejemplos de buenas prácticas en este campo.
La colaboración entre organizaciones sin ánimo de lucro y universidades es esencial para abordar los desafíos ambientales y sociales que enfrenta nuestro mundo y para promover un futuro más sostenible y justo para todos.
La visita del International Terra Institute a ESCI-UPF fue una oportunidad para fortalecer esta colaboración y para promover la sostenibilidad y la protección del medio ambiente.
La sostenibilidad es un tema cada vez más importante en el mundo empresarial, y ESCI-UPF está comprometida con la formación de profesionales capaces de abordar los desafíos ambientales y sociales de nuestro tiempo.

On September 5th, the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) hosted the final meeting of the CICEP Project – Circular Economy Action in Island Regions through the Valorization of Plastic and Agricultural Waste, with the participation of the University of Girona (UdG) and the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF.
